Lately, I have been dreaming about blackbirds

Birdwatching hides have intrigued me over the past year; they allow the birdwatcher to come closer to the birds while becoming invisible themselves - blending into the colours of the landscape. This tension between visibility and invisibility, and the attempt to come closer through disappearance, has been important for the development of these dreamlike structures. These gentle apparitions have become soft, safe capsules, which invite visitors to temporarily dissolve.
